The voters gave them the keys, whether I agree or not is a non-issue.

This war has been micromanaged from about the 60 day mark. The military is the expert at war, let them fight it.

I didn't appreciate having to get permission from LBJ to defend my life in Vietnam and I doubt the troops will want to have to get Nancy's approval to shoot back either. These limited wars accomplish nothing, if you aren't going to SHlT, then get off the pot...

BTW, they are a bunch of old hippies trying to relive the glory days of the 1960s, anti-war rallies and Peace Symbols. You remember the Peace Symbol, it was the foot print of the all American chicken. You saw thousands of those prints crossing the border into Canada.

Gee, I guess I do have a position.

What I don't think much of is stay the course or a troops surge, If it works fine but I fear it is just another of George Bush's failures or he is beefing up to go into Iran, either is unacceptable at this time. The violence in Iraq is spreading and getting worse and if it continues I would pull our troops back to the borders and let them,(the Iraqi's) sort it out. Just enough people left in Iraq to secure the borders to prevent outside intervention.

You can be certain of one thing, regardless of which party is in the White House; after the next attack on US soil, the folks in power will be pointing at the last Administration or other party on the Hill blaming them for not finishing it earlier. Everything inside the beltway is a blame game, unless you can spin it to your advantage.......................

Wonderful. Now the government is getting back into the business of telling the military how to fight a war...the same people who are accusing Bush of getting us involved in another Vietnam are placing the exact same constraints on the military that resulted in the U.S. "losing" the Vietnam Conflict. Hypocrisy, thy name is Democrat...
