psp is the best hands down. It lets you watch full movies like spider man and stores pics. also its like a mini computer you can browse the Internet. all ds can do is talk to people in the area. plus psp has better games.

Regarding interactivity, the DS is a clear winner. On the PSP you can push buttons.
On the DS, you can not only push buttons, but use the touch screen to rub off dust of a picture in an adventure. You can blow into the microphone to keep a pot from cooking over. The Touchscreen is in many games so integrated, that you will get DS games, that are not possible on any other console. However, on the DS you can also get PSP games like Need for speed ant the likes.

The features:
The PSP can do a lot of multimedia stuff. You can buy UMD Movies (however due to poor sales, WalMart has given up on selling these). You can listen to music and view pictures.
With the DS you can play games and with the proper accessories listen to MP3s and surf the Web with a Opera powered Browser.

Price: The DS is cheaper. And if you can get your hands on a Supercard and SuperKey you have the same functionality as a Devhooked PSP, but without the fear of a new Firmware (if that didn't make sense to you, never mind).

I'd buy a DS if I were you.

I know with the DS you can chat with people that have DS but other then that they really kind of suck. The PSP has many more features then the DS. The PSP has memory slot for SD cards giving you the ability to make into MP3 player, video player, etc. Also you can play DVDs specially made for PSPs. The DS is cheaper about almost 100 dollars difference but its well worth it. O yeah you can view pics on the PSP and the graphics on a PSP are the same of a PS2 on 4 inch screen. The DS is more kid oriented also, what i mean by that is, there games are favored more by 5 - 13 year old kids

This is surely a interesting question. I think there isn't one that is really better then the other one. Surely, PSP has much more features like camera or MP3. But on the other side it is much more expensive then Nintendo DS lite, I have a nintendo ds and although it can only play games, I have very satisfied with it.

I have PSP and I can download movies, photos and songs. It is expensive than Nintendo DS Lite.

If you just want to play your games then I suggest you just buy NDS Lite.
