What is that famous piece of music used at the beginning of 2001 A Space Odyssey? When the monkey's throw the bone into the air etc?

I always thought it was from Holst's The Planets - but I don't think it is now. (Was also used in the recent Charlie & The Chocolate Factory).

Does anyone know?

If you like Blue Danube Waltz then try the other waltzes by Strauss. BTW music you are referring to in 20001: A Space Odyssey is the opening of Richard Strauss (no relation to the Strauss's I referred you to) Also Sprach Zarausthra.
