When the monitor is turned on, there are patches on the screen (usually on bottom, top and sides) where the scan lines have separated, causing a double image. These patches wiggle and vibrate as they drift around the screen (think lava lamp) and take about 10 minutes to disappear completely.
Is there a fix for it? Please help!

All I can think of is magnetic or electrical interferences. Try moving all magnets (speakers, fans, anything with an electric motor) away and try using a different wall socket or a line conditioner. Sometimes this happens when the voltage of a wall outlet is not constant (keep in mind a surge protector is not a line conditioner). Try it at a friend's house if you can. If it does the same thing, then you need a tech to work on it, or a new monitor.
Good Luck.
