I have a book about Chinese names. It transliterates most common English names into several Chinese equivalents. I do not jave a language pack for Chinese and japanese yet, so I cannot show you Chinese symbols. My name is Garrett. The symbols one of my lover used signify Fine Logic or Beautiful Truth. That is Chia Li. Chinese names usually have one symbol for the surname and following it are two given names. A few surnames hjave two symbols, eg Ou Yang, and some people have just one given name.
