I think you have to make your own luck in many things you do. I don't believe in destiny, you have to work at life, you aren't going to be handed things on a plate (unless you are Paris Hilton etc).

Well I do believe in those things... but I also believe you create your own destiny.
Everything in this world is just action and reaction, actions followed by their consequences , and all your destiny is is the consequences of the actions you take now.
Ie, if someone is out of work and doesnt look for a job, their destiny will probably be a future of unemployment - but if that persons actions were to gain qualifications, search and search for jobs their destiny would likely be a good career.

We all have freewill and it is our free will which decides where fate will take us.

As for luck - I'm not sure there is good luck or bad luck, its just a frame of mind and how you look at things. Some people are negative and blame their woes on bad luck... other people dont bother blaming and just get on with life and deal with their situation.

Fate, luck and destiny are different words having different meanings.

Luck excludes or underminds God's hand in your life. That is, when something good happens to you - instead of giving credit to where its due you say 'it was luck'. So, no, I don't believe in luck!!

Fate on the other hand spares people of their responsibilities in life. Fate says 'No matter what you do, you cannot change the outcome.' or 'If it's like that you cannot change it.' So, fate is not good either. In matters of faith in Jesus Christ as the savior, fate will tell you "Don't bother, if you were meant to spend eternity in Hell, there is no way you can avoid that. Even if you choose to believe for now - people change and you are not different." So, fate is not good either. I don't believe in it!!

Destiny is quite a tricky chap to deal with. It is much similar to fate but distinct. For instance, fate might suggest that you can't change your destiny. So, then destiny becomes in this case your ultimate resting place for all eternity. So, destiny is not so cruel - in fact it can be seen as a noun. There is nothing bad with it. It is like asking if one believes in America, England, South Africa or whatever place.

Hope I get the ten points......

I believe you make your own luck, but ultimately I believe in fate and destiny. I think that fate and destiny share a path in your life, that often you can step off that path and follow a different route, but ultimately fate will always pull you back.

well i believe in Karma everything we do has a Chane reaction everything happens because of the choices we make. fate and destiny has nothing to do with it what ever will happen in the future is not for us to see it changes all the time so many paths we just can't see. luck is just a word for when something happends by chance.

Believing in something makes our lives positive and meaningful. I believe that I'm lucky sometimes, but I become what I am now because I choose to be and not because it's my fate or destiny.

Yes, somewhat, because of events that have happened in my life, however, I do not believe in using these things as a cop out. We have the freedom and the power to make our life good, achieve good (even great ) things, This requires intelligence, hard work, patience and good morals. I call this common sense, but it really is not all that common.

I think some things we are destined to do, or places we are destined to go. you feel it, like a feeling of coming home, when you meet someone or go to a place that just makes you feel like your life would be less complete without. i think those are the things that are destined for us. it doesnt have to be about romantic love either, but just great friends.

however, i dont think that all paths lead to the same place. i think that the general path of my life STEERS me towards descisions which would enable me to have these predestined expereinces, but that we each have the power to make our own descisions. And if you make one where it turns you away from your original path, then a new path comes before you.
