Extroverts on the whole are outgoing, friendly and tend to wear their hearts on their sleeves, but they can hog the attention and be a pain through superficiality, hasty judgements and showing off.
Introverts are quiet, deep thinking, long suffering, and reserved, but can give the impression they are unfriendly, looking down their noses at others, or that they have no opinion.
It is all a matter of degree, and neither is "better" or "worse". Each in their own way are necessary for society to be balanced, and the luckiest of all are those that can have a bit of both in their personality and show it at the right time in the right place.

Thats kind of an interesting question for me. I am something inbetween I guess. Probably more of an introvert. It has always been hard for me since most people I knew growing up were extroverts. They didn't really understand my deep thoughfulness sometimes. Also, I got annoyed with their loud, silly personalities. It seems extroverts have alot more friends, so if that is what makes you happy, it is great. Neither one is "better", but they each have benefits and drawbacks.

extroverts are OUTgoing. some are friendly and some are bullies or sociopaths and havent a conscience so they have no social or emotional fears interacting with others. the basic not psycho extrovert may simply have good, healthy self-esteem but the bullies are usually acting out because of FEAR

introverts are the opposite and once again FEAR is the biggest motivator here, not taking risks, avoiding rejection or ridicule/judgement
