Not all, but some amercans are not happy with what's going on in Iraq. But actually when Iraq was attacked most of the american was OK with that. This is only recent phenomenon. What is the exact reason.
Because americans soldiers are getting killed.
Because of unaccpetable behaviour of some of the american soldiers (as abu ghraib)
Lots of civilians are getting killed by american soldiers
Economic issues in america
OR

first off just like Nam there's nothing to win we the common American people will gain nothing at all nothing to win
i think most people are angry because we were going in there to get bin laden came out with Saddam bush proclaimed mission accomplished but yet we are still there wasting billions of dollars so his oil company can profit he's lied and done nothing to really further America that is unless your holding stock in Exxon or halliburton the money he's wasted on this war could have been used to promote health care , the education system which ever since no child left behind is just slipping in to the pits ( i know I'm a parent of school age kids the system is almost so far gone that the American kids are going to be the laughing stock of the world) it should be all the children are suffering and bush doesn't care so i think that's my reasoning for having a problem with this war not to mention the poor soldiers and their families and the innocent civilians of Iraq every one whose against this war has there own reasons and these are mine

You hit most of it. The Americans who are against the war in Iraq, whether they supported it in the beginning or not, are against it primarily because (a) American soldiers are getting killed, (b) they believe we should be spending that money on something that will serve a legitimate purpose at home, such as the re-building of New Orleans, and (c) the belief that this is a war we cannot win. What most people overlook is the fact that we will have to fight terrorists somewhere, so we can either take the fight to them or we can fight them right here on American soil, with innocent American citizens directly in harm's way. Don't believe the garbage the mainstream liberal media is spewing. We DID find stockpiles of WMDs in Iraq, and we DID capture or kill over 300 al-Qaeda terrorists since the war began (don't ask the media; ask the soldiers who have actually BEEN there and have actually SEEN them with their own eyes). And don't forget there hasn't been a single terrorist attack on U.S. soil since the war began either. No question that the war in Iraq is a big mess in many ways, but some good has come out of it.

The reason is because the president FAILED to prepare the country for war BEFORE it began and the FAILED AGAIN to properly manage the war once it started.

Example: If he had told us before the war that it would cost $400 billion, no one would have backed the policy. If he had told us that troops would still be in Iraq when the next President came to power, no one would have backed the policy. If he had discussed REAL alternatives to invasion -- i.e.: diplomatic talks with the dictator Hussein (like we have with the dictators in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, communist China and North Korea) -- there would have been a lot less support for the invasion.

We are frustrated because Bush's Iraq policy is not working and yet he continues on with it He has completely abandoned his primary objective Which was to get the people responsible for 9-11 Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11 Yet he continues to think they did and yes the situation with Iraq is very similar to 'Nam

It upset many Americans once they realized a national tragedy such as took place on 911, was used to launch an attack against a country that had nothing to do with causing the tragedy.

this war is worse than Vietnam war
in Iraq the US army are fighting against Muslim people
these people love their god more than their live or family
Is not easy for the US soldiers to stay alive in that country
how long do you think the army want to stay there?

Because U.S. citizens are conditioned by years of media and marketing blitzes to expect it NOW. We don't want to wait for results. We grow impatient. We want all and we want it all NOW! We want instant credit--instant meals--instant pain relief-instant everything. When an objective takes time, patience and perseverance, we start shifting from leg-to-leg and tapping a foot. It's a damn good thing our recent ancestors didn't do that during WWII or we would all be speaking Japanese or German right now!

Probably because certain politicians are using it as a stepping stone to get votes. Remember that in America slamming your opponent is considered debating the issues. Mostly because Americans, myself included, have a soft life and Iraq is interfering with our pursuit of happiness!

>Why amricans are furstrated with Bush's Iraq policy<

Because the electorate is fickle and the popular "American Idol" mentality makes for a short attention span

i think the reson is because they constantly see the bad things that happen there and none of the good things. They are shown pictures of blown up cars and think the entire country is like that. It is not, there are hundreds of sucess stories in Iraq if the mainstream media would report them. However they will not because that would be good reporting for President Bush and they have far to much invested in his "loss" and his "failure".
