Good question... I was asking that myself too... Not too long ago, actually a month ago Sims 2 was all my life. I didn't have a job for maybe 2 years.. And it was like my all life... I didn't work but i made my Sim work, i didnt have a family, but i made my sim to have a family, i didnt have a pet, but i made my Sim to have a pet... I have no kids but my Sims did. They were living the life that i didn't have... Then i asked myself... What's MY purpose in life? I sit at home all day, very unsocial and look after my Sims... Make their life instead of making mine... That game was like an addiction for me... I actually was being happy when i buy clothes, change their hair styles, make them a family, put up their skills and find them jobs...etc. I think the whole purpose of this game to make you do what you really can no do in real life. And i think it's great like that.. but everything has its level and you have to know where to stop... the game doesnt end anywhere... it's spreading with new editions and clothes and characters...

The whole idea to the game is to make and create everything from houses, paint, floor, pets, lights you name it.Its ment to be based on reailty. You make a family you bring the kids to skool and you watch them grow to old age.

The game may gets a bit boring after a while but its rly great fun when you have ghosts and vampires and even werewofls being in your strange family.

Some people hate the game, and its mostly girls that play it normally, coz guys prefer gun games lik css

So its up to you what game you like the best :D

well its like living the way you want to...having stuff you desire which u cannot totally materialize in reality, like cars and a fab house...but on the other hand....its like having to learn how to do things to reach goals and accomplish them and be fulfilled
