such simple question yet the answer is so difficult to explain... I'm not a very religious person, I had my fair share of mistakes (moments where i forgot to thank him... Moments of difficulties where i blame him for the wrong things that's happening...) But blaming him and forgetting about him makes me feel incomplete (don't know why). Moments without him in my life makes me fell so lost and unhappy, i never know the essence of praying until the time i stop doing so... at first few months it didn't bother me for not praying and believing in him... but later on i suddenly felt the emptiness without prayers and God in my life.. It felt so weird but i can't explain it either to other people who have ask me "how was life without God?" i would always end up telling them that "it felt so empty and lonely!" prayers are like food to my soul and i find it hard to explain why is it... But definitely it was really one hell of an experience...

For me praying to God means thanking life for whatever good I have or had.Its the repetition of my desires and goals in life ahead .Its like talking to myself and confronting and reflecting my life. GOD becomes my own faith and that could be mere stone also.

we usually pray to god when our lives are in such a mess we don't know what else to do. because we know if anyone can help us he can. we know we can put faith in only god. sometimes we get in rough situations in life, and there is only one way out of it, pray to our maker.
