texture - refers to what is going on in the song as far as melody and harmony are concerned. How much is happening in the song (many instruments and/or voices playing different things, or just a few instruments and/or voices playing.) qualities of texture: thick or thin, heavy or light, etc.

timbre - tone color or tone quality. How does the song sound is it sad and somber, or is it light and happy, or something
in-between. Is the music pleasing or is it harsh.

dynamics - levels of soft and loud. Is the song quiet or loud. Does it change between the two?

What Is Dynamics In Music

texture is the overall quality of sound of a piece, most often indicated by the number of voices in the music and to the relationship between these voices (see below). A piece's texture may be further described using terms such as "thick" and "light", "rough" or "smooth". For example, Aaron Copland's more popular pieces are described as having an "open" texture. The perceived texture of a piece can be affected by the number and character of parts playing at once, the timbre of the instruments or voices playing these parts and the harmony, tempo, and rhythms used.

In music, timbre, is the quality of a musical note or sound that distinguishes different types of sound production or musical instruments. The physical characteristics of sound that mediate the perception of timbre include spectrum and envelope. Timbre is also known in psychoacoustics as sound quality or sound color.

In music, dynamics refers to the softness or loudness of a sound or note. The term is also applied to the written or printed musical notation used to indicate dynamics.

The two basic dynamic indications in music are:

p or piano, meaning "softly" or "quietly" and
f or forte, meaning "loudly" or "strong".
More subtle degrees of loudness or softness are indicated by:

mp, standing for mezzo-piano, and meaning "medium-quiet" or "moderately-quiet" and
mf, standing for mezzo-forte, and meaning "medium-loud" or "moderately-loud".
Beyond f and p, there are also

ff, standing for "fortissimo", and meaning "very loudly" and
pp, standing for "pianissimo", and meaning "very quietly".
To indicate even more extreme degrees of intensity, more p's or f's are added as required.

For example, timbre is what, with a little practice, people use to distinguish the saxophone from the trumpet in a jazz group, even if both instruments are playing notes at the same pitch and amplitude.

Well, I don't know. What do YOU think they are? It's your assignment, after all. I would suggest, however, that actually LISTENING to the music might help you.
