There are many different types of fractures here are a few examples. Complete fracture occurs when the bone breaks in two parts. Greenstick fracture is when the bone breaks on one side only. In single fractures, the bone breaks in one place. Comminuted fracture occurs when the bone breaks in two or more parts compressed, bowing fracture is when the bone bends but does not break (it only occurs in kids), and finally open fracture, which occurs when the bone is sticking throughout the pelt(skin).
