Saw 3 was terrible....the downfall of the franchise so far. It was just a money making excuse that wasnt well planned out or written. And movies like The Grudge 2 and Black Christmas are nothing but crappy remakes of old movie, or japanese movies. And Hostel was just barely 2006(Jan 6th). It may have been one of the most twisted, but not the best. Just a lot of blood.
These movies dont use many scare tactics anymore, they just see who can top each other for the bloodiest/goriest movies.
Well enough with my rant about terrible state of horror movies. By FAR the BEST horror movie of 2006 was the movie Slither. It had humor, gore, and a very origional feel to it. Slither was origional with alien monsters, zombies, and all sorts of mutants. Good for a few laughs and some great entertainment, it was the only true real good horror movie in 2006. It takes elements of many horror/scifi/thriller genre movies and turns it into a masterpiece that should be an underground horror cult hit.
Every other "horror" movie these days is just a killer hacking people to pieces (like, Texas Chainsaw, Devil's Rejects, Hills Have Eyes, Wolf Creek) and they all feel the same. Lost people with a killer following them chopping them to pieces....how unorigional.... Slither had a good story, good laughs, good gore and was just all around what a good horror movie should be.

The grudge is okay and in case you want that form of stuff there is also some video clips like the hoop reincarnation darkish water the interest the interest 2 severe threes there are also different sturdy oneslike Creep abandoned an american haunting proper creature the straightforward haired newborn And in case you dont innovations subtitles there are a lot of scary video clips performed by technique of Asia severe

Alot of Horror movies have gone downhill, I don't count my favorite movies such as Saw as a horror movie, but if you do, SAW 3 had to be by far the best horror movie.

I don't know if was done in '06 but it came out last year, was Wolf Creek, that movie was scary and is one of my top ten.
