People sometimes complain they have rents and bills to pay, so it's almost impossible to save up much money. But I think you can if you really want to. Some people just think if they need the money they can always use their credit cards or just get a loan, so they don't see the need to save up.

I have part of my paycheck automatically deposited in my 401K and to buy stocks. I just got a raise, so the actual net difference will be deposited in a savings account. I find that it is MUCH easier to save money if it's automatically done.

yes always

my sister is 18 yrs older then me so i have always gotten a heads up on being a grown up

she started having 5.00 a week taken out of her pay checks when she started work in the 70's

as she got raises it went up little by little she never seen it because they took it out before she got her pay

after her car was paid off she took those payments and put them away she lived without that money for 4 yrs so she knew she did not really need it

the witch retired at age 44 with 3/4 of her pay and ins and pension she also has enough money in the bank to just live off the interest every month

well, banks and other outlets makes it all seem so attractive at the beginning, especially to young people. then they fall in the trap and end up paying more than they thought and being left with no money end of the month. i prefer having a notice account that pulls money from my savings into a fixed account... at least i can access the money when necessary and not at any time, except for 32 days after calling the bank

We save. Most people end up spending the money they save or they never put it into the savings account themselves. We have the amount automatically deducted from every check and put directly into our savings account and then we do not carry the debit card to that account on us, so that if we do take any money out, it is a planned purchase and not on impulse.
