You can live your life to its fullest potential only in Jesus Christ. The carnal world, that is the world of the devil has nothing to offer you but misery and an early death. the devil is never satisfied and when a person walks with the devil he/she shares in this dissatisfaction. Eventually the devil will get tired of you and kill you. With Jesus Christ, however, you live for eternity because Jesus takes you away from sin the the desire to sin. He never gets tired of you and he always has a higher level for you to attain to. Spiritual growth is the purpose of this life and you can only grow with Christ at your side. All the money and property in the world will do nothing for you except buy you a one-way ticket to hell. With Christ you do not need all that junk----and junk is exactly what it is because none of it lasts and you cannot take any of it with you when you leave this earth; so, why have it in the first place. Trinkets will interest you for awhile, but them you get bored with them and set them aside where they gather dust and they rust and they become eaten up by moths and worms. the treasures of heaven, however, are eternal and they are the only treasure worth having.
