people not able to carry our nation because our nation is too big .....

People will care for the Nation if
1. All citizens have Food, Clothing and Shelter.
2. There is 100% literacy
3. There is Peace in the country.
4. There is a Stable Government.
4. There is no corruption.
6. Law and order eg Police is good.
7.Justice system is fair.

Personally i care very deeply about this country. My family fought in every war from the birth of this nation. But I am sickened and losing hope when I see the Bush administration just give away our country. We have so much debt to China right now due to paying for the Iraq war, New Orleans is still a disaster(how do we pump billions per week to Iraq and not 100 million for N.O.?), immigration policies might as well not exist, and funding for domestic programs is getting cut again.
I'm losing faith, brother, losing faith.

Please restate your question! And don't say people as that means all, and there is no such thing as all! Like I would say most Republicans care less about anything but their pocketbook, but I would never say all!
The main reason people are uncaring is that they believe that those in dire circumstance have character defects or are just plain lazy! Both are Blaming the Victim and it helps them rationalize why they should not help others!
They do not seem to care that almost all of the poor (25% being Children) are the elderly, children and disabled. They aren't lazy!
They also tend to overlook a small fact about our economy. It works on supply and demand! That means there will ALWAYS be those who are unemployed! Six percent of 200 million is a lot of people!
Ironic that they don't mind spending half of the budget (and more) on killing people (BIG Money Maker) and interest on the debt (Big Money Maker)! I guess that is because it is usually other peoples money they are spending!

People get passimistic when they see the corrupt flourishing ans hard working poor suffering. But things are changing and awareness is increasing. Honest people are entering into business. More good people should enter into politics, judiciary and administration to make a bigger difference.

One positive thing that we are doing for ourselves as a nation? Alternative fuels research: It's about time we looked into ways to stop being bullied by OPEC. Cartels and Monopolies are bad business, anyway. When we have no need for their oil, they won't matter to us, diplomatically, and then we can focus on our other issues more clearly.
