I hate them too and have never worn a pair. Besides being terrible for your feet, they make them look 4 sizes larger because of the tapering done to make the points. I've never seen a pair on a woman that looked good.

Everyone has there own personal preference when it comes to footwear. The point in these shoes is meant to be slightly witch like. A lot does depend on an individuals foot size and and shape it is. If you have wide feet the point can detract from that and make your foot look more slender.
It also depends on what a person wants to say with their footwear and the occasion for wearing it.
The point in a shoe is more aggressive then a rounded front and is more overtly sexual as well and can give across a certain attitude.

Yes, I hate them too and never wear them. Now the experts agree that they are not good for the foot and cause cause a variety of problems, including ingrown toenails and bunions.

But, the pointed shoe has a long history. They first appeared in the middle ages and were only wore by the more wealthy people. Some points were so long that the point needed to be attached to the trouser by a string or small chain just so the person (usually men) wouldn't trip.

Women wear them to make their feet look bigger specially if they have small size 3 (36) or 4 (37) feet they are fine to wear short term but in the years to come too much wearing of pointy toes can cause bunions and other foot problems
to look after pointy toes put cotton wool or toilet tissue in the point to stop it from curling
i don't find pointy toes crap they aren't my first choice when it come to shoes but i do weat them

My ft are truthfully short, yet they are extensive, so I constantly could positioned on a length and a a million/2 bigger than the dimensions of my foot :( I truthfully have a pair of talk in a adult men's length 7 that for the time of high-quality condition completely, so i'd probable tear up your shoes quite badly.

I really like pointy shoes, and you won't get more foot problems from them then you will from other shoes as long as you have th eright size for your feet, it they pitch - don't wear them!

I have quite small feet for my hight and I think they look nice on me. It's also a more edgy look than rounded shoes and you can make a statement that you made more of an effort than in your every day clothes. I think they're sexy, I feel sexy in them and that's the whole point I guess. If you feel good in it - it usually looks good as well.

I have a pointy pair of black boots with a 3" heel. I'll admit when I first bought them, I felt self-conscious about how they resembled witches shoes. After awhile though, I got lots of compliments regarding their sexy appeal. I guess that is the "fashionable" look for the current time. I never did understand fashion.

they do actually look kinda bad on feet. they are very painful. and can sometimes be very hideous.but everyone has their own style and own choice and we can't tell people what to wear and what not to wear. lol from when i was younger till up until now i always thought they looked like witches especially when ladies wear them with something long.

I love wearing high heels, but not the pointed toe kind. I prefer peeptoe shoes, painted toe nails just showing through, much more comfortable and I think they look much sexier.
