Can SIMS 2 mac version be played on a PC?

Question

My daughter has the Sims 2 game, but unfortunately we bought her the Mac edition not the PC version. Not a technical wizzkid myself - can it be used on our PC?
If we can't use it we want to sell it on ebay, but she has lost the booklets that came with it!!!
Is it possible to purchase these separately?

No you cannot use a SIMS 2 Mac Version on a PC. you can sell the copy on Ebay barring the cd is in good condition, it would have been better to sell them at a higher price if you got the booklets with them. I am not sure but if you have the manual and the digit code number booklet then it should be fine to sell, if not it will problems to sell as you need the 16 digit code to play the game on the computer (used to prevent fraud)

I'm not certain but i don't think it will try returning it for a PC version or if they wont let you return it sell it on eBay to get the money back so you can buy the PC version!

no it cant, pc games only work on pc. mac games only work on mac
