Go to the control panel->regional settings (or regional and language options) ->go to the languages tab. Under 'text services and input languages' click on the details... button. Every country has their specific keyboard, so what you need to do here is go under 'installed services' and click on the 'add...' button. Change the input language and Keyboard layout to that of your keyboard (Mine is 'United States-Dvorak'). I don't know which country your keyboard is from, but I assume the US. Select the proper language and you should be fine.

Keyboards form part of the user interface and a keyboard problem can be very annoying. Sometimes the keyboard drivers can get corrupted. Some of the problems can be fixed .
