Maybe it was the delivery of the gifts and the dinner that were a turn off!. Carnations? Why didn't you give her roses? Maybe your expectations were to high.
If you're basing your entire marriage on carnations, a fish dinner, a teddy bear and not getting your nuts off well....I hate to say it but if I were your wife you'd be to the curb with bags packed!!

Does she work? maybe she was tired.
And you spent a fortune? Last I knew carnations was the cheapest flower you can buy, stuffed animals are a no-no unless you guys are 16 and under.
There has to be a reason, and for to dump her over something like that is repulsive! Did you only marry her for the handy sex?

No two persons could have same state of mind ,experiences and mood at the same time so expecting same from your partner would not be good on a first place. Second thing she is your wife and not any girl .You took pledge while getting married to accept her "as she is" ,so how come such a small thing could be the reason of dumping her .Its always better to have minimum expectations in married life because no body is perfect ,even you , there might be so many flaws in you which she never shared with you so that you might not get hurt. So my dear try to accept things as they are and do not try to change it .They will change by itself.

That's a bit harsh? Just because you couldn't get what you wanted so she's dumped? Treat her like that, sounds to me she's better off without you! Stop sulking and behaving like a spoilt brat and treat her a lot better and maybe you'll get more respect not just from her, but others as well!
Do you think buying a bunch of flowers and the usual boring box of chocolates will get you what you want? Grow up!

Carnations and a Teddybear you really pushed the
boat out didn,t ya. I don,t think I would have liked the
dinner - too fishy for my liking.
Perhaps as you are being so childish she is looking
for a man.

Well if your dumping your wife over one Valentines day gone bad then your really shallow. If you act like this on a regular basis to your wife then no wonder she didn't appreciate what you got her.

I am sure that she will be happy to get rid of the extra wasted weight that has been hanging around her house. Maybe if you weren't so cheap bought her roses insteady she would have given you something
