B.S. increase your chances of getting into pharmacy school?

So, it's generally not possible to go unless you start there as a freshman? I've heard of people going from community colleges, but I guess it's rare. Does this mean that an adult student should just forget about pharmacy school?

Theoretically, it's possible after 2 years at a community college. For a freshmen, no. Nowadays, with the competition to get into pharmacy schools, there's almost no chance a pharmacy school would take a kid straight out of community college.

Freshmen can get admitted into special programs in connection with a pharmacy school, but that just means they do an accelerated course for their undergraduate work before going on to pharmacy school. Meaning, they still have more schooling to do before going on to pharmacy school. So, no freshmen into pharmacy school. Just some rumor you heard in all likelihood. Or, the story got mixed up.

Pharmacy isn't out of the question for adult students. They should just get that bachelors degree first.
