As much as I hate Flair still wrestling, I have an idea. They should let him keep snapping of on the New School wrestlers like he did on Carlito and one day beat Cena for the title. Then he should dump Cena's belt and bring back the Big Gold Belt, going on a tirade on how a real World Championship is supposed to look.
That story would be GOLD! After that, Cena will beat him back at Summerslam, then Flair can call it quits.

No I do not think so. With all of the new talent suceeding in the in the WWE, I wouldn't want some oldie whose time with even the Earth is nearing to an end. Ric Flair doesn't deserve the title again, as he is a 17 time World champion and there is much better talent currently than he has ever been that doesn't even have any title reigns yet. Sorry Ric Flair but your time has come for you to retire without a title reign.

Ric Flair has earned the right to retire whenever he pleases. He is the only old timer that does anything to help out the younger generation. At 58,he is still better than 75% of the so called young superstars. Can you honestly say that Flair is not a better performer than no talents like Masters,MVP,Khali and so on.The perfect ending to Flairs career would be for him to win the World Title and announce his retirement on the spot.WOOOOO!!!!!!

I don't believe he would hold the World Title ever again. He may be in a World Title match, but at this point in his career I see him as an intercontinental contender at best. He could make a run at tag belts with another wrestler. I wish Bret Hart would come back he is like Flair both great wrestlers that worked there *** off. Didn't come into wrestling and become a champion right off the bat. They had to work there way up to the top, and when they did they didn't leave to make movies and not come back.

I didnt watch Flair during his prime...but I know that the man deserves a title shot, and probably another reign. But unfortunately, I doubt it will happen because the drawing power would be a little below average and WWE wont be able to let Ric beat a whole bunch of their newer stars. It would be a nice way to celebrate his career tho, by giving him another reign as WWE Champion.

I think now would be a good time to give Flair the belt for a month or so as sort of a reward for a magnificent career. Sadly he probably won't see a World Title/WWE title run again but I wouldn't count out another tag title or IC title run.

My best guess is Ric will get one more chance to hold the IC belt. Maybe even at WM 23 even though he lost to Hardy on Raw. There is no way I can see him holding the World or WWE Championship again. I think if Flair gets in the WWE HOF this year he is good as done.

For all of you that think that Flair should leave and all of that, hate to break it to yah, but McMahon has him locked into a contract for another couple of years. I think that he might somehow get a title, maybe a tag team or something like that before he is able to leave the WWE but I highly doubt that he'll get any of the heavyweight titles. I'm sure that he is ready to leave also, but when you sign that piece of paper, you don't have a say after that unless you want to end up paying a lot of cash.

I doubt it would happen but it would be nice to see Flair win his 17th world title and then retire that same night to go out on top. He'd let out one last WOOOOOO! This would complete his career and give us a tournament for the vacated title and a new champ.
