Yemen is very different for men & women. The culture is gender segregated. Being respectful & avoiding confrontation must be remembered. Yemen is politically aligned with the US; however, they face the challenges of integrating their culture & traditions with global progress. The history of Yemen goes back before the time of the Pharohes. They were the center of Arabia until the time of the Marib Dam failure & the teachings of Mohamed. They were a part of the British empire, the Soviet conquest & now US democracy. Yemen still hold certain attributes of all these cultures. Yet, they remain themselves poised on one of the world's busiest trading routes. If you would like to know something specific, please ask a more detailed question.

Yemen ! yemen is surprising ,had been there for 1 day lst yer!
specifically sanaa man the place is dusty ,took a taxi n the driver drove as if hes been chased by an armored car behind, the driver had a gun (scary) ,wanted to run away from the place as fast as possible luked more like a warzone man.saw a tank in the middle of a road .
maybe i saw the bad side of sanaa n yemen bt every country(including yemen lol) is unique n beautiful in the very sense so dnt judge it by wht am sayin ,its just the way i saw the place.
