Like earth on Sun, Sun revolves on top and the cycles are developing to lofty heights. Thus the whole universe has 'day' and 'night'. The night would be the time earth is under water and the day is now - earth is out of water. 120 years - the span of human is one day of 'Brahma' - It can be divided into the 4 periods of our ordinary day - the dawn, the morning, the noon, aftern oon and the dusk to cover. Taking the time of 4 Yugas is equal to the time of the time to reach next Satyug. - the night of Brahma.

Kaliyug is a yuga which is about to over in 432000 years. Then satyayug starts. As the above answerer said, there is a day and a night for Brahma. In night as usual...pralayam starts...and in day...we lead our life. And anyway this question is religious related and it is not to be asked in geography...
