There is no enmity among the people of these two countries. Sometime back I spend a month in one international training program with a person from Pakistan. We were just like two childhood friends. All the other participants from Europe were saying "We thought India and Pakistan are enemy to each other, but looking at you two we think you are friends." The person (call friend) from Pakistan replied "There is no enmity among the people. Its all are created by our beloved (so called) politicians.

If we can send all the politicians of both the countries to Antarctica permanently we will be able to live happily as friends. And if we two unite together - there is no one in this world can beat us.

Pakistan and India were friends sometime ago? This is indeed news to me. As far as I'm aware, Pakistan (and Bangladesh, formerly East Pakistan) were born out of conflict based on religious differences with Hinduism. You are therefore basically asking how can Hindus and Muslims live in peace (and not necessarily as friends). THAT question, mere bhai, does not have an answer.

I was raised as a Chritstian in a Christian-Hindu-Muslim community.

till the time... the politics is acting as a "bit**".... contentions wil be there... politics makes a minor news an issue...
while the public... wants a friendly ambiance... cuz of many things which include cultures... aqaintances and relatives living both in India and Pakistan... and simple... who want to be on front with a neighbour...

Peace is God's message lets spread it....
