We had sex until about 10 days before bub was born. The pregnancy had no complications, apart from the obvious large bump which got in the way! Some of the positions shich allow for deep penetration may be uncomfortable towards the end of the pregnancy. Your doctor will advise you if there is any reason you shouldn't have sex. And of course, if you feel you don't want to, just tell your partner that.

One of my colleagues had sex with his wife the night before their child was born - right on the hospital bed. Now that child is 16 years old and he and his parents are still healthy, wealthy and strong.

I do not advise you to do like those people. Sex during very advanced pregnancy can lead to complications. But up to 6th months it should be ok. But instead of the man-on-top or woman-on-top positions, you may try the side-on (11) position.

But..... whatever you two do during pregancy will have direct/ indirect effect on your child. If you spend this period in spiritual practices, your child will become a spiritual giant, if you steal, she will become a thief; if you keep your mind constantly on the sex plane, your child will also become sex-obsessed......

(six months of absistence/ celibacy can be good and a thrilling experience. you can explore other ways of expressing love for your spouse.....than just bang-bang sex !!)

The Choice is Yours.

yes.. up until 8 months with out worry.
you must remember you are dealing with a growing thing that is afected by things happening around it...noise,speach, movement..
so sex is fine.. just as long as you keep it gental, and leave any over the top or "rough stuff" until the child is born....

as long as your midwife/ GP hasn't advised against you having sex, then it is fine to have sex during pregnancy. you may be advised against it if you have a history of miscarriages or you have had some bleeding. otherwise sex is fine!
