I don't believe they have hidden agendas to go after our children. I did hear that there are hidden messages and art work in the movies to distinguish and allow the artist creativity and to get the public to look more closely and see what they can find.

I don't think that the Disney movies have a hidden meaning. You have to remember that these stories have been taken and altered a little bit to make them "Disney" worthy. Now the origanal stories may have hidden meanings. So try going back to those stories and see what you find. The point of the Disney movies are just to entertain people, but since the stories were written with a moral meaning in mind, that meaning gets put in the movie since they try to keep the movie as close to the real thing as possible. It's just a good way to try to teach kids to be polite and kind to people. Too bad it doesn't stick with some into adult hood. I really enjoy reading the old fairy tales according to the Brothers Grimm and Hans Christian Anderson. Have fun exploring.

Some of these stories go back to Hans Christian Anderson, the old fairy tale author. Check out his works sometime at the local library, his stories are great. I wouldn't spend much time looking for hidden meaning in the Disney movies, if there is any, it's not hidden very hard. Most of Disney's princess movies seem to be simple moral issues i.e. good/evil, love/hate, actions/consequences, etc. Once your children are old enough to comprehend the basic facts of these issues that you want them to, sit down and have a conversation with them about the movie and see what they thought of particular things happening throughout so that you can "guide' their moral compass while you can.

I would want to be Cinderella. I love her voice and she's just so fairytale :) I would want Aladdin as my prince too. Or Peter Pan ( even though he's not a prince) because I could go to Neverland! I wouldn't mind being Tinkerbell , even though she's not a princess just because she can fly and gets to hang out with Peter Pan. I don't know though, they are all so great ! & it's Pocahontas haha. I'm so obsessed with Disney :)

Ok... what do you mean are they RELATED to the world, of course they are related to the world, because for one, they were fabricated by human beings, both the animated movies and in the written fairytales they have origins in.
two... hidden meanings... not likely hidden, just veiled but yes I think that they are there.
but also i think that the disney programmers also like to have a little fun with us with the animation.

Absolutely. But many of the deeper meanings are more psychological, and less moral.
Most represent the transition from young innocence to married life. "Beauty and the Beast," for example, is a perfect allegory for how a young bride 'tames' her husband. Prince Charming awakens Sleeping Beauty/Snow White with a kiss.
