I am looking at having the flat roof on our extension replaced with a pitched one. How much should a chartered surveyor charge for preparing the plans etc for the work?

Not sure, depends on the complexity of the roof. I would have thought around £150 - £200.

you dont need planing for pitch roof. only if your having a velux window installed

what do you need a surveyor for? it sounds like you just need a builder. or do it yourself.
