Once a racist always a racist. Rush made the McNabb comments that were racailly based. I know that he will say he isn't a racist but if you continue to make race (for good or bad) an issue where it is not, you are racist!!
If I remember correctly, Rush claimed McNabb was "overrated" because he was judged by lower standards because we is balck. Now, you are saying that he is saying Rex is held up to a higher standard because he is white?? That the same "point" we was trying to make with McNabb by focusing on the "white" part and "downgrading" the "black talent" at the same time.
This guy is a voice for a (large) portion of the American populace that claims to have high morals and values...but they are only focused on their people who look and think like them. Unfortunately this is a majority and the reason why he can spew his racial comments...It is sad to say!
Update:
I have gone and found a few pages with stories and transcripts...One thing I am surpised is that I have not heard it before. Which only makes me hope that the nation has finally stopped caring about his rants.
But the statements were worse than I thought. He is saying that people want a white quarterback to fail this adds to his earlier comments about wanting a black quarterback to succeed.
I guess the media and NFL must really want QBs to fail...I hear so much type stuff and exagerated weaknesses of Peyton Manning!!!

How many times do I have to tell you people "The Onion" ISN'T A REAL PAPER. It is a PARODY. Beyond that since it was in "the paper" why not show me a link to the story. Short of that I'm going to have a hard time buying this one. It would have gotten exposure if it was a real story. As to they would hear "racial slurs from here to Germany" I don't think that Brooks DOES hear them. Every game he starts is as bad or worse then how Grossman performed.

Grossman is criticized because he throws 2 interceptions in the last 5 minutes of the Super Bowl when his team is in position to win. Rush is an idiot for not being able to see that.

Rush Limbaugh is a jackass. If a quaterback is bad he is bad it doesnt matter whether he is black or white, the only thing fans care about is whether the guy can win or not. Rex Grossman didnt win in fact some people believe he lost the game.

Limbaugh's an idiot. Grossman was criticised because he couldn't complete a pass to his own team to save his life. It was his defense who got the Bears to the Super Bowl.
It was his bad arm that gave the Colts' D some false hope for the coming season.
Oh, but what a sweet day it will be to see that hope shattered in front of them like so much broken glass.

Most of the sports media is liberal (they are). That's what Limbaugh is saying, and that was the point of his Donovan McNabb remarks a few years ago.
