I wait at the station for the next train to come along and get back on.

Sometimes, though, it's the wrong train! I realize, Oh no, this isn't my train of thought! It's a Crazy Train! Or a circus train! Or the Little Engine That Could! But it's not my train of thought! Then I have to quickly get off and hope the next train is the right one.

When this happens in a meeting, or a presentation, or a speech, it's a little awkward. And not just for me.

A little embarrassed.
Kept my sense of humor .
Asked the audience what their opinion was on the subject.
Their answers got me back on track and saved my sanity lol.
