I think you've misspelled the word cause there's no such word in Greek.

iovolos IOVOLOS "Ιοβόλος" in Greek means this who has poison. This is refereed to snakes

It is used as last name in the area I come from (NE Greece). There are several "Lovolos" and "Lovoulos" last names there. It seems to me that it is from latin origin.
