If he plays,then fine
India needs steady batsmen like Kaif,rather than all batters
being attacking

Kaif is the worst option. Other than for fielding, I don't see any merits in him. He keeps rubbing his thigh pads and.. and... that's all he does when he is at the crease. I am not sure how he could be there in Indian team for so long. For fielding, you can try Dinesh Karthik Gambhir or even Raina.. not Kaif. Or Dinesh Mongia can be a better choice than Kaif. I believe due to few matches he played (just an anchor role) during Natwest series against England back in 2003, he was continuously given chance. He doesn't deserve a place. I would stick with Sehwag.
Don't worry. Sehwag will come back. He is going to be the superstar of Carebbian during world cup. He is just saving his energy for the wold cup and he will unleash as a fury for other countries ;-)

I strongly feel that selection of Sehwag is justified as besides being an attacking batsman and moderately good fielder, he can be used as a bowler also. With Sachin and Sehwag around, India need not have to worry about the 5th bowler and can play an extra batsman. If Sehwag comes to form he can demoralise any bowling attack in the world and can be a match winner

good choice because he is gives a good start for indians and if there is a match with assuies then sehwag scores the maximum in most of the matches.vengsarkar has done the right thing includin sehwag in the team

I think you can start by crying...sehwag will be indias downfall...he will average approx 8-10 runs through the world cup.
i dont know why teams hold on to the players that are horrific
pakistan is holding onto Rana naveed....why, i dunno

sehawag is a world class player and experienced when compared to some of the players. he will come back to form at any time.kaf is not good as sehawag becoz sehawag is most destrctive
