We have a new puppy, with short legs, fat and dark in color. he's not very hairy. i call him chibi in the meantime, but he will grow..my brother calls him Karupin (cat in Prince of Tennis). im afraid my mother will call him Brownie (please!!!!!!!!!) if we dont agree on a name. so help please! suggestions from pets' names in anime/manga will be appreciated. thanks =^-^=

I don't have a pet named after a comic character, but my son's name is Logan and my daughter is Phoenix. My wife doesn't like comics but she knows I love the Xmen.(specifically Wolverine) And she liked the character of Jean Grey in the movies.(hence Phoenix) My poor children. It could be worse, I could be Like Nicholas Cage and name my son Cal-El:)

i can help you i'm an anime addict myself. i'm still 13 years old. here are list of names either boys or girls:
kaname, lacus, athran, daisuke, rizza, miaka, aya, tamahome, toya, natsume, mikan, sakura, sasuke, kagome, sangu, kiosuke, misaki, kira, etc. it only depends on what you really like to name the pup. you can even just call it chibi as of this time until your family agrees on a name. there are lot more from where that came from. watch anime always.

Name him Shigure [(Shi-Gur-Eh)]. He was the dog [(from the Chinese Zodiac)] in Fruits Basket. And he was black too, so there ya go ;)
