This is my wife friend, not a friend of mine's wife so the question should read, should I tell my wifes friend that I am in love with her? I cant stop thinking about her, she invades my thoughts......

You can never build happiness on someone's ruins.

tough situation...either way, you're taking a risk. if you tell her, u may risk losing a friendship, or she may leave her hubby for you under the circumstance that you don't care for your friend. if you don't tell her, nothing will ever happen and you get to keep the friendship and find another woman you may truly love. 8 years is a long time...why don't you weigh and give each answer a percentage of what you think may happen...then decide. but just another thought...after all, she's married and you came later. sometimes the timing means everything.... good luck!

Do it, or you will live with that guilt of not doing it. Atleast let her know. She probably has feelings for you too. Maybe you get a little fling or a relationship that can last a long time. Just don't become lovers and betray your friend.

You see her in the best light, and it appeals to you that you can't have her? Grow up. he's with her! What kind of a best friend are you? Maybe you are confusing deep friendship for love, maybe you're only happy when all around you are miserable.

NO! NO! NO! Not only will it ruin your friendship, it will ruin your life. Not to mention the marraige of two people you supposedly care about. She is married for God's sake! You are not thinking at all, here!

Please don't. It will ruin your friendship with her. Even if she kept an open mind on this, it will but your friendship with her at risk. You'd already kept your peace for 8 years, you can stretch more.
