Speaking from experience (Multiple high schools, graduated from a community college, and a four year college, now a graduate student), for me college was easier since I was with other people who loved learning. The social garbage of high school was in the past, good riddance!!

The first year of college is harder in some ways since you have to be more responsible for doing your work, no teacher bugging you. You have to be able to write, and read alot. Of course it depends on the classes you take. Math and science were harder for me than English and history, but you may be the opposite.

The general required courses can be a little harder than later courses since they are survey courses and have to cram alot into each class. Once you get to higher level courses they are more specialized so you can focus on fewer areas. Overall, there is nothing to be scared of. If you can handle high school level work, and you are a decent student, you will do fine in your first year of college, if you put the time into it!

Good luck!

That definately depends on where you are going? If you are going to a four year University then yes it is a lot harder. School will definately shock you in fact the part that will shock you the most is the writing. In college you are expected to write at least 10x better than you were ever expected to write in high school. However, if you are going to a community college, then don't worry. They are fairly easy. The only difficult part of them is that not many people you are going to school with are motivated to stay and transfer therefore, it makes it harder to be motivated but the work is easier. Good luck!

If you're going to high school u (your local community college) cd b much easier. I think that's where you're headed ,given your proclivity for either 1. Wasting lots of time on this website, or 2. by the nature of your impressive lack of knowledge.
