As from today the U.K. police are launching a campaign against the drivers of vehicles useing their Mobile Phones in the car at traffic lights or driving.

So beware because they are useing unmarked cars and plain clothed police to keep an eye on us all.

No amnesty just plain good old fashioned 'Fines 4.U.'

Dont forget the fine carries three points on your licence.

Keep looking over your shoulder you never know who is at the side or behind you.

Dont use your phone while driving and the problem just simply disappears.

in total agreement with you there mate. i was walking across a zebra crossing at stanstead airport car park when i was nearly ran over by a bloke on his mobile. i don't think he actually realised he was moving until i banged on the bonnet of his car. i am disabled and cannot walk very fast so to see this car coming at me was quite scary.

Everyone knows using a phone whilst driving is dangerous and illegal so only have themselves to blame if they get a fine and points!
If you keep looking over your shoulder when you drive, surely thats more dangerous than using a phone?

I like your last point, I agree completely. I'm sick of people whinging about getting points for using a mobile whilst driving. The simple answer? Don't do it!!!

Quite right too. They would not like it if another driver hurt or killed one of their loved ones while using a mobile phone.

Good. It's about time they clamped down on these idiotic people who insist on taking the call held to their ear in the car.

Yes, I agree with your last point too, completely. Anyone who does something so stupid gets what they deserve.
