A clothesline. I even take mine down and put it in the garage to protect it from sun and things when I'm not using it. I also have an indoor drying rack that doubles as a humidifier in the winter.

Any solar energy is renewable . Insulation will last forever and cut your energy usage enough to pay for itself in a few years.
