Today in our society we see engineer and doctors an software proffessinals but there is a strong feeling that we are becoming technical coolies who can do any thing for money rather than laying emphasis on core fundmental science research.

Have you yourself done some fundamental research before coming up with such a comment !! Have you noticed how much the country has developed in the past 10 years and how much investment now goes into scientific research and developments ?

Are you aware that in space science we shall soon be lifting off other countries shuttles from our launch pad, and Europeans are coming to get treated in India in the field of medical science, are you aware that 14% of the world's back office software development and research takes place in Indian techno labs and India is developing the 4th generation fighter jets in collaboration with Russia, which already bagged 179 billion $ worth of forward order's in the recent aero-show....

If you need a longer list with other details in what we achieved in which field through research and scientific development, do let me know..but please, respect your country and your Indian identity rather than acting like a layman !!
