i turn my computer on and it goes

then refuses to load up?

Can anybody help?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

It means something is wrong! Get out the manual and look for beep codes. The beeps will be in some form of code and you can tell where the problems are by reading the number of beeps and whether they are short or long.

1 short beep Normal POST - system is ok
2 short beeps POST Error - error code shown on screen
No beep Power supply or system board problem
Continuous beep Power supply, system board, or keyboard problem
Repeating short beeps Power supply or system board problem
1 long, 1 short beep System board problem
1 long, 2 short beeps Display adapter problem (MDA, CGA)
1 long, 3 short beeps Enhanced Graphics Adapter (EGA)
3 long beeps 3270 keyboard card

you have to check your hardware the ram or vga card might not be connected properly so try removing them and inserting them again because when the mother bord peeps it's usually hardware
if you're not a pro then you'd better see a technesion

Its means you have very messed up computer.
to fix this problem find your recorery/installation disks and reinstall your operating system. oh and by the way say good by to any personal files you might have on there.

ok if it is as exactly as u discribed (1beep-3beep-1beep) then its a memory refresh problem meaning you have bad memory on your system. Best of luck

i think your memory try trouble shooting it,

if it not working try replacing the video card..

does it mean it cant boot at all?
or it's booting but wont load to the desktop?
