i am not able to sleep for a long time.ie if i sleep by 10pm i will get up by 2.30am.i will b simply lying down in bed till 4am and then i will sleep.but if get up in the morning i will not feel fresh .i am always feeling tried.what to do

Try to get some excersise in the day work will tire you out. Also stay away from tea, soda, or coffee. The caffine will kick in about the time your resting well.

u do not mention ur age nor ur occupation.

sleeping hours and necessity vary according to age.

in general 6 - 8 hours sleep is the normal limit for an adult.
the hours u mentioned r only 4.30 hours. so u r defintely not getting enough sleep.

recheck ur daily schedule & ur wrkng hours.may be u need to reschedule?

and avoid taking too long an aftrenoon siesta.

take proper food and at regualr times. make sure u get some exercise too every evening ..may be like a brisk evening walk.

avoid too late night shws on TV.

and a glassof hot milk before retiring and listening to somE soothing music and reading a good book may make u drift to sleep and sleep sound.

if none of the above help try seeing a doc.

You have not told your age. Anyway, do yoga, especially pranayamam daily. You can try homeopathy medicine Bellis perinis mother tincture, 5-6 drops in lukewarm water atleast half an hour after food in the night combined with a pich of Kali phos 3x powder (biochemic medicine) in an 1/4 glass of lukewarm water before sleep. This has worked for my father.

I think u shld do a lot of hard work during the day so that you are tired enough to get a good sleep as resting after a good toil helps u take into a good sleep

OR u shld reduce your sleeping hours.

OR u shld consult a doctor in order to get treatment as this might be due to some problem.

Try this tonignt :

Wash your feet with cold water and crawl in under your bed-sheet. Close your eyes and then breath in slowly and then breath out slowly. Do this through your nostrils while laying on your back.....you will automatically fall asleep.

Trust me this works, try it out . Please do not take any medication and stuff like that. The natural way is the best.

try reading really~ boring book. Drink warm milk or herbal tee(with no caffene) b4 u go 2 bed. And do very short, quick stretching (don't do too much, otherwise, you'll be too awake)

while sleeping do not think about anything or listen to music so that you feel easy to sleep or take sleeping pills

You please remove your shirts and banians while sleep just feel how the sleep is great
