The laptop will work fine. The power supply will be fine. You won't need any kind of adaptor - the previous respondent is wrong - as laptop power supplies are autosensing for voltage.

Whilst not necessarily "problems" there a few things to consider:

1. You will have to pay VAT when you import it into the UK.
2. You will have an American keyboard (no £ sign, a few keys in different places).
3. If you have a problem with it, you may have trouble getting it fixed in the UK as normal practice is first to return it to the retailer from where it was purchased.

no but if the send you the laptop from us bay post you have to pay tax in uk to the government
other vies is not problem at all

You will need a plug to convert from 2 pin U.S. to 3 pin. You should be able to change keyboard to be able to type the pound sign. you need to go to Control Panel, Date, Time Language and regional Option, you can have multiple key board or single.

toshiba offers a global ac power source, for there laptops, no adaptors, works where ever you go
