I know this is an old song, but "Butterfly Kisses" has an effect on me, because I have grown up, getting married and dad thinks he is losing his baby girl (I was first-born). So, basically the song makes me tear up because he has a heart for it and nearly cries to it as well. After mom passed, he had to raise us pretty much on his own and he came to me a lot for help with my sibling(he felt I was all he had until he got married, again). I am planning on playing it for him on my wedding date. As far as an impact, I guess i can say yes, because it reminds me that he DOES still care even though he doesn't show it.

Magic Dance by David Bowie. It didn't make me want to live differently but whenever I was going through a real hard time and was in a bad relationship that song would always make me feel almost 100% better. I don't know how.

Yes, Sober by TOOL. Because I was struggling with addiction when that song came out and I am now Sober. Life is nice, hence my avatar name(read it backwards)

Let me go - Three doors down. I realized I was trying to live a lie, and so had to break it off with my fiance, because I wasn't who she thought I was.
