They basically broke up since the lead singer left the band.
From wikipedia: Eric Dill left the band in late 2006 to undertake musical and creative endeavors in Los Angeles, however, an official announcement from the band has not been made.

Their around. I suggest going to their website and joining a messageboard or community so you can see whats going on with the. Just because other bands are around doesn't mean that they've completely stolen the spotlight.
