it is an organism with modified DNA by insertion or deletion of certain genes (e.g Grouth gene in cattle)it require follow up and experience

Genetically modified organisms are organisms prroduced with their genes modified to improve their ability in certain desired properties of the organisms. Such as improving milk production in cow, production of insulin in bacteria.

The pros:
Faster cheaper production of things
pure production of substances.
overcome seasonal restriction in plants for flowerings.

The cons:
predators may increase in number wiping out preys.
sterile organisms maybe produced.
genes may mutate and produce undesirable effects.
genes maybe transferred to other organisms during trophic transfer and kill other organisms.
