i dont think it will harm the baby! just because baby is protected by the fluid..but you never know! you should possibly ask your doctor what he/she thinks!

I don't think that little dogs playing around would be a problem. The baby is well protected by the amniotic sac. But you might want to discourage it just because you'll find it more uncomfortable as you get bigger.

no you are fine! The baby is well protected in there. My 14 pound cat has layed on my belly my whole pregnancy and everything is fine.

your baby is surrounded by a huge amniotic sac filled with fluid, and also protected by a large muscle (your uterus). it is very difficult to harm a baby by dogs (especially just little dogs...how big are yours?) jumping on your lap.
i have seen lots of very pregnant (35 weeks and up) fall directly on their abdomen and not have injury to the baby. i've seen women in the same place in pregnancy get into car accidents with severe trauma, falling down steps, etc and the baby was fine. those babies are very well protected in there!!!

just to ease your mind, ask your OB next visit, ok?? and good luck!!!

i was 36 weeks pregnant when i was assaulted by a patient in the ER...a drunk, hallucinating patient kicked me right in the abdomen and other than being sore, my son was fine.

baby will probably be fine as it is well protected in fluid. but you should discourage your dogs from jumping up as you will soon have a baby in the house and if your dogs don't know their place they could cause problems

i don't think it would harm your baby, especially if they are small dogs. there is always the chance it could harm your baby. however i know it is hard to get small dogs to quit doing what they are probaly used to doing a lot.

i dont think that it will cause any harm as they are pritty light, but i wouldnt keep letting them it gets very uncomfortuble later in the pregnancy. i have 2 little dogs my self and i just make sure they keep to my knee and dont sit on my belly.. its a little harder keeping the cat off but still. i try to get her just to sit on my knee but then she gets the monk on and goes away...

good luck!
