Too often is by definition bad. What's too often is left up to the definition of you and your spouse.

Good and Healthy! It means you like your partner (wife/husband) you do not cheat and you enjoy his/her body so much.
The question is can he/she keep up with the demands?
The best way is to be both giver and receiver, that is to say you excite your partner to sex and not just demanding it as if its a commodity. It takes two to tangle and to tango!
Sex, for men, is the most important aspect of marriage. If its good then everything else is good and if its bad then everything else is more likely to be bad too. Thats is how with most men, and there is nothing they can help.
For most women, though, sex is part of a good relationship but not THE most important thing. Love, care, honesty, consideration, etc., etc are the pre-requisits for good relationship, hence sex too.
If you underestand yur role and be ready to be complementing your partners' priorities, you can live in heaven in this world, and sex would be very good for both of you.
All the best!/

One of the main pillars of successful marriage is sex and you need not ask for sex... its yours for taking as long as your partner also likes it the number of times you are interested in doing.

Spouses should take care of each other and should not burden or harass. It should be with mutual consent. Neither one should insist when the other is unwilling, nor the other should refuse with valid reasons.
If sexual desires are not fulfilled lawfully with spouse, needy spouse may search outside causing dissatisfied marital life, avoidable silly disputes, disaffection, neglecting etc. Excess of anything is always not good specially for health.
