Girls like it when a guy really tries to get to know them not all the oh you look great- yeah it's nice to say it to her once or twince dont drag on and on about it all noght-. there's more to her then the dress and heels. dont gossips about how gooffy, sluttly, druggy, etc another prom goer is. ask her htings like-what are your plans for the summer coming u are you going away// etc- if she states a specific trip comment about you've been there, or like to sometime. then tell her a little something about a trip your planning allowing her the insiders view to you. the best relationships are made of talking. and the more you know about someone the more concrete you will be in all deciosions you;ll ever make whether it's to be a couple, break up,stay as friends.. also- dont put the moves on her all night. so many gyuys think of prom as the opportunity to get their rocks off- and it puts pressure on the girl to comply or oose the guy. let it be clear you and her and hanging out and prom night is about dancing, eating and haning out and talking. again-this will impress her more then you'd ever knw. and let her know if your nervous- i as you can see am a blabber mouth my hubbys is a quite as a filed mouse- he told me straight up- i am pretty shy it's not that i dontlike you or am ignoring you- i am just shy and a little nervous- i was too and told him so and 15 years later we're still dancing to these are the times to remember, (our prom theme0. good luck and have a nice prom. make it a happy memory.

Well this sometimes happens to me
think possitive and stay calm if you get really shy then just think about the thing you love most in the world don't forget it and then take a deep breath and start talking to the girl start out by asking her something easy like "how are you" chances are she is having the same problem as you - good luck

awww... thats soo sweet!! we always think that we are the only ones worried about what to say and how to act we dont even realize that guys feel the same way... anyway best thing is to just ask her alot of questions.. girls love to talk about themselves... which concerts she's been to, her fav bands, fav restaunrant, fav movies... just do it casually not like your giving her the third degree, since you know her well you might already know these tnigns but if you dont its just fun and easy conversation, also making fun of what other people are wearing to eachother is always fun too (a little mean but fun).. anyway just try to have fun... dont worry and let the good times roll ( god i sound soo old, haha) prom is something you'll remeber forever!! Hope you have a GREAT TIME!!!

You talk about your interests and then you ask her about hers. Talk about your friends and then ask her about hers.
Talk about what you do for fun and ask about hers.
You just keep going back and forth. The conversation will eventually take over and lead it's own way. Just stay calm and ask questions and in turn she'll ask you questions. Oh and yeah . Make sure you tell her how great she looks. That's a must.
You can also talk about music, movies, computer stuff, etc. You'll be able to feel out what she's interested in talking about.

do you plan on talking the entire night or dancing? dont give her too many compliments just like 2 or 3, 4 tops. because then she'll start thinking that you're obsessing or something. umm. ask her how her day was but dont danc with her the whole ngiht. well dont expect her too. if you guys are just friends then let ehr have her boundaries. but that also doesnt eman going up and dancing wiht other girls. let them come to you. ahah I knwo this is out of what your asked but eyah. good luck.

Great Question ....hopefully you get along really well and the conversation runs smoothly .....but here are some good ideas ....ask her what career she wants when she is done school !
If she could have one PERFECT day ...what would it consist of !
What are her 3 wishes?
does she get along well with her mum or dad or both ?
What does she like to eat ?
Ask her what her most romantic night wouold be like ?

I could go on forever .....don't be so nervous and forget these ok ; )
Good luck and relax and have a great time !!

I think that with prom she'll b so excited about it, and everything going on.
Try to sit at a table with other friends. Don't worry about what to say, if the girl says yes then she likes you, and what you used to talk about. Just relaz and have fun!

p.s. any compliments u give her she will really like and it will break the ice!

Tell her she looks nice, this will make her like you even more.
Talking tips ;
about her friends,
whats she doing the next day,
what she does in her time,
her hobbies. But member if she says something like i just go out to cinema and stuff, you tell her about you aswell, like saying 'o yh me too, what films do you like?' && continue the convo :]
Just be yourself and everything will be ok, she obv likes you because she said she will go with you. Dont 'change'.
Stay calm try not to get shy :]
Hope i helped abit, sorry if i didnt xxx

The best thing I can tell you is to relax, and be yourself. You say you know her, why turn shy? It's guaranteed to happen if you keep thinking about it, just let yourself go, and have a great time.

Perhaps you should hang out with her a while before the prom. Get to know eachother and learn to be yourself around her. You'll find that once you become closer, you'll have more to say, and you won't have to worry about saying something stupid because she might have gotten used to it [me and my boyfriend have haha] we just laugh it off. So yeah, relax, be yourself, and have fun! xx
