No. They are characters in a story called, "Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde" written by Robert Louis Stevenson. The story is about the duality of man.

no dr. jekyll in mr. hyde was not a real person just made up the person that made them up was robert louis stevenson he also wrote a book on the play to so there is your answer for you

I think he was fictional.

However I know a few people who are Jeckyl & Hyde types after a few beers or whiskeys.
