How we can improve quality of scientific research in India?

I don’t think that our government is not providing the enough funds for the scientific research but its true that there is no proper utilization of the funds. As for as I know there is no significant interference by the politician as well. The fundamental problem is that there is no tough assessment for the faculty, scientists and others who are bearing the sole responsibility of quality research. Whether the Prof will do the work or not he will get full payment at the end of the every month. The recruitment of the faculty is not based on the fundamental knowledge about the desired subject
but it is on the number of the research papers and reccomendations.If someone has a large no of paper it is not necessary that he/she has better understanding of the subject which is essential for the quality and innovative research. Good recommendation does not always reflects the true image/personality of the recommended person. The personal relation with guide may add or diminish the natural aberration (chromatic or spatial) to the true image. Some bosses like buttering, flattery and sycophancy which is almost impossible for the true researcher. In my view there should be the provision of demotion for the faculty and scientists in our country as like in US. The faculty/scientist should get payment only when they have government or industrial project. I think India has bright young researcher but they need good atm for the scientific nourishment think the recruitment criteria for the student is good but there should be the personality test for the admission to the research program. As some students are spoiling the atmosphere of the lab which badly affects the peers progress. Lastly, I stop my fingers by saying that research lab should be filled of honest and good researchers (not necessarily only in the science but also pretty good in the behavior) for a quality and innovative research on which India can proud of.

Without a right source it is not possible to get the better result. Govt is also not giving sufficient support for the research work. To improve the quality some Organisations can help and give the chance to right person.

Well i guess generally to improve any research facility involves financial injections to take the research to new heights or further.

Maybe find sponsors and donors, hold up campigns, awarness of such research and its vitality to a community or the country at large.

this can not be possible until our government take some strong steps and politicians do not interfere in this field. Research quality can we improved only when we have good ideas and modern equipments facility and obviously good salary packages.

When Indian Government give the chance to talented scientist ,encourage them to research here not in abroad.
