Hhm.. I dont know what it is called actually,so if i got wrong,please understand it.Hehe
Hhm.. I get a singing exam tomorrow. Well,the song is The Prayer. I still cant reach the highest note in that song ,which is B note.Well, the detail is when the lyrics is like this:" Og nu no dia la, ma nual SUO vi ci no" the word SUO is a second octave B. Well, i cant reach it anyhow. Is there any possibility i will pass the exam?

It might not help at this late date, but let's give it a shot.
Run the film of yourself singing this song in your mind. Pay attention to what your body is doing while you're singing. Do you tense your shoulders? bob your head up and down? Stretch out your neck to get that high note? Anything like that? Well, it's easier said than done, but STOP IT. You don't need to do any of those things to sing well, and you're actually getting in your own way by doing them.
Take another look at another film in your mind. You're standing there, at ease with yourself, your back is straight, your shoulders are comfortable without being pulled back, hunched over, or twisted around. You have a warm stable comfortable feeling around your belt line ( and I mean the old-fashioned one at your waist, not the one around your hips). It makes your back feel big and broad, and you feel like you even have grown an inch if you stand like this. Your mouth and jaw are relaxed, there is no need to push any air out, no need to make the sound
any bigger or stronger than it needs to be. It takes only as much energy to get the sound out as it does to sigh. ( Take a second here, and see how much that really is. That's how much energy it takes from your throat. The rest comes from your stomach and back muscles)
Now hear that phrase playing in your head. Hear that one note before you ever get there, and make sure your mouth is opened wide enough to let that sound out. Don't push it out, just let it float out- just like a sigh- it feels easy in your throat and sturdy in your body.
Good luck, but next time, ask the teacher/coach for help earlier than a day ahead! Practice makes perfect.
